We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Servers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced breakfast and lunch diner. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using LAVU ordering system. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring quality presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and service stations. Assist with bussing tables to ensure a smooth flow of service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations while handling food items.

Skills

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, but will train the right person. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary experience is a plus. Proficient in using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros for order processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy shifts. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests positively. Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and boost sales. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately, including retail math concepts. Familiarity with sanitation practices and food safety regulations is essential. Pay: $3.27 - $6.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
