Duties

Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage practices. Participate in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and cooking using various kitchen equipment. Support catering events by preparing dishes according to specific requirements and timelines. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service during busy periods. Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

Experience in meal preparation or cooking within a restaurant or catering setting is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and kitchen safety protocols. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Proficiency with kitchen tools, including knives, and familiarity with various cooking techniques. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and supervisors. A passion for food and a desire to learn more about culinary arts.
