We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Server/Host/Kitchen staff in a dynamic dining environment. This versatile role combines guest service, food handling, and kitchen support to ensure an exceptional experience for our patrons. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience in food service or restaurant operations is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments. The position offers opportunities for growth within the food industry and a chance to develop a broad skill set including customer relations, food safety, and POS operations.
Duties
Greet guests warmly as Host/Host, managing reservations and seating arrangements using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
Take and serve orders accurately, upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and sales.
Handle food and beverage service including serving, bussing tables, and maintaining sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
Assist in food preparation and kitchen support as needed, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
Manage cashiering duties including cash handling and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other restaurant software.
Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, managing guest relations, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their visit.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, kitchen stations, and service equipment following health standards.
Support the team during busy hours by multitasking between serving, hosting, bussing, and kitchen support roles.
Skills
Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations.
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures.
Previous experience in food industry roles including serving, hosting/host duties, bussing, or kitchen support--preferably in fine dining or nightclub settings.
Ability to handle food preparation tasks and basic food handling procedures.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
Upselling techniques to increase sales while providing excellent guest experiences.
Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members across front-of-house and kitchen operations. This position is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about hospitality who enjoy working in vibrant environments while delivering memorable experiences to guests.
Pay: $3.50 - $18.00 per hour
