Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation quality and adherence to sanitation standards Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations by bussing and sanitation practices Assist with food preparation and kitchen support as needed, ensuring food safety and proper handling procedures Provide guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy hours, including night shifts or nightclub settings if applicable

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or hospitality experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order entry and processing Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and upselling transactions Experience with food industry operations including serving, bussing, host/host duties, and food preparation preferred Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting during day or night shifts
