Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS Prepare and serve food items with attention to quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments efficiently and accurately Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including bussing tables and sanitizing workspaces Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring timely service during busy hours Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations Support the kitchen team with basic food prep and ingredient organization as required Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables quickly while maintaining high service standards

Experience

Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Background in culinary arts or food preparation adds value to your role Proven ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Experience working in a fast-paced setting like a cafe, retail store, or grocery environment is beneficial Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
