Job Overview

We are seeking a server/cashier to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a server/cashier you will be responsible for engaging with patrons, and serving and ensuring an enjoyable experience for all guests and processing transactions on the register.

Duties

Prepare and serve beverages according to standard customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including washing glassware and utensils. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, upselling and addressing any concerns promptly. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilizing EPOS POS system for order processing. Monitor inventory levels of supplies and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff during events to ensure timely service of food and beverages once food service begins Manage time effectively during busy shifts to maintain high service standards in a fast paced family atmosphere.

Qualifications

Previous cashier/server experience preferred; knowledge of upselling is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons and colleagues. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change. Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours. Familiarity with EPOS POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Knowledge of food handling practices is essential for maintaining safety standards in beverage preparation. A background in hospitality or catering can enhance your candidacy for this role.
