Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking orders, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests. Previous experience in food preparation, POS systems, and food safety is preferred. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in the food industry while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Take customer orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems Handle cash and process payments efficiently and accurately Assist with food preparation and food handling to ensure quality standards are met Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously Upsell menu items to enhance sales and improve guest satisfaction Maintain cleanliness of dining area, including bussing tables and sanitation practices Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times Support kitchen staff with basic prep work when needed Manage time effectively during busy service hours to serve guests promptly Follow sanitation guidelines to uphold health regulations and cleanliness standards

Experience

Prior experience in food service, quick service, or fast-food restaurant environments preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience in cashiering, food handling, and customer service roles required Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and basic math skills for retail or restaurant settings preferred Previous work in cafes, grocery stores, or retail environments involving serving or cashiering is advantageous Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly attitude in a fast-paced setting
Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
