Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our dynamic food service team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced, growing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking orders, handling transactions, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests. Prior experience in food service, cashiering, or retail is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments efficiently and accurately. Serve food items following established recipes and presentation standards. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including tables, and counters Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic garnishing Ensure timely delivery of orders to customers while maintaining quality standards. Buss tables and assist with general restaurant cleanliness to ensure a welcoming environment. Follow all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Support team members during busy periods by providing excellent customer service and efficient service flow.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, cafe, quick service & fast food restaurant, or retail environment preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and safety standards in the food industry. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently. Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and sales transactions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Prior experience with cashiering, serving, bussing tables, or kitchen tasks is advantageous. Food industry knowledge including food handling regulations and proper sanitation practices. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed. Pay: $3.65 - $30.00 per hour
