Server/Bartender (Hybrid Role)

Part-Time or Full-Time Hot Pockets Sports Bar Palatine, IL

Hot Pockets Sports Bar -- the fastest-growing sports bar in Palatine -- is looking for an energetic, reliable, and guest-focused Server/Bartender to join our team. This hybrid position includes both serving and bartending shifts, offering a great opportunity to grow your skills, earn strong tips, and be part of an exciting, high-volume environment.

About Hot Pockets

We're not your average sports bar. Hot Pockets is home to:

- 6 Pool Tables
- 6 Soft-Tip Dart Boards
- 4 Steel-Tip Dart Boards

-Board Games & Ping Pong
- Daily events, leagues, and a lively crowd

We're Palatine's go-to spot for UFC/boxing nights, sports watch parties, and weekly leagues -- with a fun, supportive team behind the bar.

Business Hours

Mon-Thurs: 1pm-12am
Fri-Sat: 11am-2am
Sun: 11am-11pm
Candidates should be available for a mix of day, evening, and/or weekend shifts.

What We're Looking For

- 1-2 years restaurant experience required
- Bartending experience strongly preferred
- Strong multitasking and communication skills
- Ability to deliver excellent hospitality in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude, team mindset, and desire to grow
- Must be 21+ and BASSET certified (or willing to get certified)

What You'll Do

Provide high-quality service to guests in both bar and dining areas

Make drinks accurately and efficiently

Run food/drinks and maintain clean service areas

Engage with guests, build relationships, and create a great atmosphere

Assist with events, leagues, and high-traffic sports nights

Follow all safety and service guidelines
