Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team for our new restaurant in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role involves serving food and beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests in both fine dining settings.

Duties

Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverages promptly. Utilize Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry and payment processing. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety standards. Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages, ensuring compliance with all local laws regarding alcohol service. Assist with banquet and catering events, providing support as needed for large parties. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Demonstrate strong time management skills to efficiently manage multiple tables or bar patrons. Engage with guests to promote menu items, enhancing sales through effective communication. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders. Uphold high standards of food handling practices in accordance with health regulations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus. Clover POS Must be 21 years old Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality. Basic math skills for handling payments and making change accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Experience in brewing or cocktail preparation is an advantage. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $8.75 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
