Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise transactions Mix and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations Serve food promptly and professionally from the kitchen to the table, ensuring presentation standards are met Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties and processing payments efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space in compliance with food safety standards Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience Collaborate with team members during busy shifts, supporting banquet or catering events when needed Follow all food handling procedures and health regulations to uphold safety standards in a food industry environment

Requirements

Proven experience as a server or bartender in a restaurant, fine dining establishment, nightclub, or banquet setting is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during peak hours Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and retail math applications in sales transactions Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to serve alcohol responsibly following all applicable laws and regulations Experience with food industry standards related to catering, banquet service, or retail food sales is advantageous Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a hospitality environment A friendly attitude combined with strong communication skills to foster an energetic atmosphere
