Brewery Server Job Position Description

: Full time or part time, 10-35 hours/week.

: The ideal candidate will be an energetic, friendly, motivated, outgoing and hardworking individual who takes initiative. Flexibility in schedule is required for starting employees. Seniority will offer you the ability to work your preferred shifts.

About us

: We are a small brewery and pizza restaurant located in beautiful Cedar Crest, NM, only 10 minutes from Tramway Blvd. Our staff is a small, happy, and tight-knit group who works extremely well as a team. Our customers are loyal, diverse, and easy-going, which makes for a pleasant place to work. Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

includes but is not limited to:

Operating the Point of Sale system and taking orders

Serving food and drinks in the restaurant

Answering questions and make recommendations regarding our drink selection

Maintaining a clean bar and restaurant

Assisting the restocking and replenishment of inventory and supplies.

Helping the kitchen prepare and execute meals

Qualifications and requirements

Meet the minimum New Mexico State age requirement to serve alcohol.

Possess a valid State of New Mexico approved server training certification (this can be done after hiring).

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Possess basic math skills, possess the ability to handle money and operate a cash register.

Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours) and climb up and down steps.

Be able to reach, bend, stoop and occasionally frequently lift up to 30 pounds

Punctual and regular, reliable attendance.

Honesty and Integrity

Ability to work quickly, problem solve and think on your feet while maintaining poise in a fast-paced environment

Positive, infectious attitude and sense of humor. Personable, kind, and customer service oriented

Passion for the service industry, desire to be part of a team and work hard, high level of self-awareness and long-term view of success.

Desired skills: well-versed in: beer history; brewing techniques; preparation techniques, styles, flavor profiles or possess a willingness to learn.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
