Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and personable Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, whether in a fine dining setting, nightclub, or banquet hall. The ideal candidate will have experience with food and beverage service, possess strong multitasking skills, and be passionate about creating memorable guest experiences. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, along with excellent time management and sales skills, are highly valued. Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of food safety, food handling, and responsible alcohol service to ensure compliance and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service. Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages as a bartender, ensuring responsible alcohol service. Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately during shifts. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards. Assist in setting up banquet events or catering functions as needed. Monitor guest needs throughout their visit to ensure an enjoyable experience. Handle customer inquiries professionally, providing recommendations on menu items and beverages. Uphold all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy hours, including night shifts or special events.

Experience

Previous experience in restaurant service, fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Experience in serving or bartending within the food industry demonstrates strong customer service skills. Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service is essential. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and manage tabs accurately. Experience with catering or event service is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar patrons efficiently during peak hours. Excellent communication skills to provide outstanding hospitality in diverse settings including nightclubs and banquet events.
