Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing basic math skills for order processing. Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to proper sanitation and food safety standards. Assist in maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, including sanitizing tables and kitchen equipment as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any guest inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices are followed. Provide recommendations on menu items based on guest preferences, showcasing culinary knowledge. Support team members during busy shifts by helping with various tasks as needed to enhance overall service quality.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide exceptional guest services. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing orders accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to assisting colleagues and guests alike. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
