Duties

Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide expert recommendations to enhance their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and accommodated Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and prioritization skills Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS operations accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and assisting with sanitation protocols in food handling and food safety compliance

Qualifications

experience in food service or restaurant environments Familiarity with POS systems Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest relations Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform basic math calculations for check splitting, tips, and cash handling accurately Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is a plus for understanding food preparation and presentation standards Excellent time management skills to serve efficiently during busy hours while maintaining quality service
