Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements

2-3 shifts per week (we are closed Mondays and Tuesdays) Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant setting. Familiarity with POS systems; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
