Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and experience working in fast-paced restaurant environments. This role involves providing attentive service, managing guest needs, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Prior experience with POS system Toast is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards. A background in fine dining or hospitality settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS system Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and resetting tables for new guests Provide guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction Collaborate with kitchen staff to facilitate smooth food preparation and timely service Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, daily specials, and restaurant policies to inform guests effectively

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments Proficiency with POS systems Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/host roles is beneficial Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous hospitality or guest services experience is valued
