Welcome to Putts and Pins, a uniquely distinct full service indoor restaurant & bar amidst 2 miniature putting greens and duckpin bowling lanes. The venue is located in West Des Moines, IA and is recognized for its awesome food, finest cocktails and superior service, which is delivered among a high-energy, classic pop rock vibe. What You Do:

Takes orders, fulfills beverage orders and serves meals to guests. Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management. Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager. Performs opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking. Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System and follows all outline cash handling policies and procedures. Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events. Serve catered parties from service or portable bars. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. Maintains regular and reliable attendance. Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Requirements:

Experience in restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems (e.g. Toast and SevenRooms). Experience serving in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands:

Frequently stands, walks, talks, listens, and uses hands. Regularly reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches; tastes, smells and sits. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds. Occasionally may lift up to 50 pounds.

Certificates/Licenses:

ServSafe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.
