Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha or Micros POS systems. Provide menu recommendations and upsell specials to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets our high standards. Monitor guest needs throughout their meal, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns. Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service. Uphold the restaurant's policies regarding guest relations, service quality, and hospitality.

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant settings, preferably with fine dining experience. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha, Micros, or OpenTable is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relations. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance sales revenue. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards in the food industry. Basic math skills for cash handling and processing payments accurately. Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is an advantage but not required. Previous host/host experience is beneficial for understanding guest flow dynamics.
