Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met in accordance with health regulations Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting tables for new guests Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Provide guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction Maintain a clean work environment following sanitation protocols

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Ability to upsell menu items effectively to maximize sales opportunities Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with food preparation, sanitation, and kitchen operations is advantageous Previous host/host or bussing experience is beneficial but not required Ability to work flexible hours including nights; hospitality experience preferred but not mandatory

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
