Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server / Server / Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring each guest has a memorable dining experience. Experience with fine dining and food industry standards is preferred, along with a strong focus on food safety and sanitation. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining excellent guest relations to promote customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met Manage cash handling and billing accurately using POS systems like OpenTable or other restaurant software Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas in compliance with food safety standards Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, including wine pairings or specials Handle guest inquiries professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction Support host/host duties when necessary, including seating arrangements and managing waitlists

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs is advantageous Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous host/host or serving experience is preferred but not required Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
