Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated front of house staff member to join our team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring exceptional service throughout their dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for the hospitality industry, and work well with other members of our team.

This job will be a mix of serving, bussing, and food running. We are a small and close-knit team. The right candidate must work well with our team members and also show that they take initiative.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Provide detailed information about menu items, including specials and dietary options. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining tables and waiting areas. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and address any guest concerns promptly. Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations. Sweep/Mop at closing Familiarize with the Clover POS system

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant is required. Excellent customer service and communication skills are required. Knowledge of food safety practices. Food handler's card (or ability to obtain one, if hired) Bartending experience is a plus, but not required. Reliable transportation.

We are a small business and are updating our practices and structures day by day. The ideal candidate must be flexible and MUST work well with our team. This job position will be a mix of serving, bussing, and cleaning at start/end of shift. We prefer someone who is looking for a long-term position and

not temporary.
