Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring all details are captured correctly. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate cash register operations. Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining area, and service stations throughout the shift. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring excellent guest relations at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and special requests. Assist in training new staff members on service standards and procedures as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and cash registers is essential. Experience with POS systems (Aloha POS preferred) is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy shifts. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and providing help when needed. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn are key attributes for success in this role.

Pay: $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
