Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. Experience with food service, POS systems, and hospitality standards is preferred. This role offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant setting that values teamwork, hospitality, and food quality. Our hours are 11:30-2 for lunch and 5-8:30 for dinner. please be able to work these hours if you'd like to apply.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols are followed at all times Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting tables for new guests Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems Maintain guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally

Requirements

Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling transactions Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required Previous experience in serving, bussing, or host/host roles is advantageous Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and restaurant revenue
