Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist in food preparation and food handling tasks as needed to support kitchen staff and ensure quality standards are met Foster positive guest relations through excellent communication, responsiveness, and proactive service in various settings including fine dining, nightclubs, or casual restaurants

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality settings is a plus Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Background in guest services, serving, bussing, or host/host roles demonstrates excellent customer relations skills Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations with accuracy
