Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience. Upsell menu items and promote specials to maximize sales opportunities. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high service standards. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Adhere to all food safety guidelines, sanitation practices, and health regulations. Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries or complaints with professionalism.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus. Familiarity with Toast or OpenTable systems is advantageous. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is beneficial for menu recommendations.
