Summary of Position:
Responsible for serving food and/or beverages in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the company's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.
Responsibilities:
Accurately take orders from guests, submit to kitchen using Point-of-Sales (POS) software, deliver food and drinks, bus tables or assist busser/runner
Knowledge of restaurant and bar menu promotions and specials
In an honest and timely manner, prepare checks, process credit cards, accept and make accurate change for cash payments
Ensure alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages are served in accordance with Federal, State, Local regulations and Company procedures
Provide timely, courteous service to all guests throughout the meal service
Set tables, polish glasses, prepare workstations and other side work as assigned
Accurately prepare sales and tip reports at shift's end, deposit cash and credit card receipts
Understand Company ISO (Environmental & Quality) management systems, Health and Safety standards, policies, goals and initiatives and meet the specific responsibilities within these areas
Complete other front of house duties such as host, and busser- food runner as needed to meet business requirements
Other duties per Duties Checklist and as requested
Position Requirements: Obtain ServSafe Certification in accordance with Company F&B policy
Excellent customer service and people skills
Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts
Must have excellent communication skills and be able to count change and reconcile paperwork
Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment, in close proximity to other people
Education and Experience:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum (1) year in a restaurant establishment Resort/National Park Concession preferred Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status and all other status protected by law.
