Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation Manage cash handling, process payments accurately through POS systems like OpenTable or cashiering procedures, and provide correct change Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards Foster guest relations by responding promptly to inquiries, resolving issues professionally, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Experience

Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is a plus Strong skills in customer service, guest relations, and food handling are essential for success in this role Experience with food safety protocols and sanitation practices ensures a safe environment for both guests and staff Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills Knowledge of food industry standards including basic math for cash handling and order calculations Previous host/host or serving experience is advantageous for creating a welcoming atmosphere

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
