Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team! Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, utilizing reservation systems such as OpenTable when applicable. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted clearly. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, including food ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings to provide expert recommendations. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling, serving, and table clearing processes. Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and providing attentive service throughout the dining experience. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering functions while balancing registers at shift end. Support other team members with tasks such as food prep or hosting duties during busy periods or staff shortages. Adhere to all sanitation protocols and safety regulations to maintain a clean, safe environment for guests and staff alike.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or upscale environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates memorable guest experiences. Excellent communication skills for effective guest interaction and teamwork. Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly. Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations. Experience with reservation platforms like OpenTable is advantageous. Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities. Culinary or food industry experience can enhance your ability to assist guests confidently. Nightclub or hospitality background is beneficial for adapting to lively atmospheres.
