Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive service, ensuring food safety, and effectively managing time during busy shifts. Your ability to upsell menu items and engage with guests will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the OpenTable system. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and promotions. Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining quality standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service. Adhere to all food safety guidelines and sanitation standards to maintain a clean work environment. Process payments accurately and efficiently using basic math skills.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or guest services role is preferred but not required. Strong math skills for accurate order processing and payment handling. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with guests and team members. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while providing exceptional customer service. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards in the kitchen. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work well under pressure are key attributes for success in this role.
