We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience while efficiently managing their orders and providing attentive service.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations on food and beverage selections. Utilize Silverware POS to accurately input orders and process transactions. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service. Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures and service standards.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts. Basic math skills for processing transactions and handling cash accurately. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous. Knowledge of culinary practices, food handling, and safety regulations is essential. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in guest relations, hospitality, or as a host/host is beneficial. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are key attributes for success in this role.
