Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, efficient food and beverage delivery, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about hospitality, food service, and creating memorable dining experiences in a fast-paced environment. Prior restaurant experience, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings, is highly valued. The Server will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction through excellent customer service and effective communication.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties Assist with bussing tables, resetting tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, including wine pairings or specials Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and quality standards are met Engage with guests to foster positive guest relations and address any concerns promptly Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff

Skills

Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent communication skills for effective order taking and guest interaction Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance sales opportunities Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Previous experience in fine dining, nightlife venues, or hospitality environments is a plus Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes Time management skills to efficiently serve multiple tables during busy periods Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant setting Guest relations skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.66 - $18.66 per hour
