Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that each guest has a memorable dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Experience in fine dining or the food industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Touch Bistro or Micros POS systems. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Maintain the cleanliness of tables, dining area, and service stations by bussing tables and adhering to sanitation guidelines. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns efficiently. Assist with food preparation as needed, demonstrating culinary knowledge when appropriate. Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries or complaints with professionalism and courtesy.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is highly desirable; fine dining experience is a plus. Familiarity with TouchBistro POS, Aloha POS, Micros POS, OpenTable, or similar systems is preferred. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately; cashiering experience is beneficial. Knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated during shifts.
