Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and managing guest relations effectively.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly while providing menus and information about daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism to enhance guest satisfaction. Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures and customer service expectations.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Experience with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems is preferred. Culinary experience or knowledge of food handling practices is an asset. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to boost sales. Previous fine dining or restaurant experience is highly desirable. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations. Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively. Experience in bussing or host/host roles is a plus.
