Evening Server within the Hyatt Regency Lobby Bar

Overview

The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, possess strong food and beverage knowledge, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Experience with POS systems along with a background in food service or fine dining, will be highly valued. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness of dining areas Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Address guest inquiries promptly, resolving issues to ensure a positive experience Maintain knowledge of menu items, wine pairings, and restaurant policies

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is desirable Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality Excellent communication skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and food handling procedures Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Prior experience in serving, bussing, host/host roles, or food preparation is advantageous Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items and contribute to sales goals
