We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, knowledgeable menu recommendations, and efficient food and beverage delivery. This role requires a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in food service, fine dining, or hospitality is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable. The Server will play a key role in ensuring guest satisfaction while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS and relay them efficiently to the kitchen
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations; bus tables as needed
Assist with food preparation or kitchen duties if required, ensuring sanitation protocols are followed
Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns professionally and courteously
Support team members during busy periods, including host/host duties or bussing tables when necessary
Follow all sanitation, food handling, and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Skills
Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is highly desirable
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in food industry settings
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction
Prior experience in fine dining or hospitality environments is a plus
Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members
Previous experience in serving, bartending, or host/host roles is advantageous
