A server within Schulson Collective is responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences by delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a high level of professionalism. This role requires a comprehensive knowledge of our menu, the ability to make recommendations, and a focus on upselling. Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service:
+ Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
+ Guide guests through the menu, offering suggestions and answering any questions.
+ Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar promptly.
+ Deliver food and beverages to the table in a timely manner.
+ Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in regularly and addressing any concerns immediately.
+ Provide a memorable dining experience by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
Menu Knowledge:
+ Maintain an in-depth understanding of the menu, including daily specials, ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens.
+ Make informed recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
+ Keep up-to-date with changes in the menu and promotions.
Sales and Upselling:
+ Identify opportunities to upsell beverages, appetizers, desserts, and specials.
+ Promote special events, loyalty programs, and other restaurant services.
Order Accuracy and Timeliness:
+ Ensure all orders are accurately entered into the Toast POS system.
+ Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
+ Handle any order discrepancies or issues with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Cleanliness and Organization:
+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for the next guests.
+ Adhere to sanitation and safety standards at all times.
+ Assist with side work, such as restocking supplies and preparing for the next shift.
Team Collaboration:
+ Work collaboratively with other servers, kitchen staff, and management.
+ Assist teammates as needed to ensure efficient operation and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:
Experience:
+ Minimum of 2-3 years of serving experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
