Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced dining environment, ensuring that every guest feels valued and well-served. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining excellent customer relations to promote repeat business and uphold our restaurant's reputation for outstanding service. Prior experience in fine dining or food service is preferred, along with strong communication and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and resetting tables for new guests Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems and manage cash handling responsibilities Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, daily specials, and wine or beverage pairings to assist guests effectively Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly Provide guest relations by addressing questions or concerns professionally and courteously

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is preferred Experience in culinary settings or food industry roles such as host/host or bartender is a plus Strong skills in customer service, upselling, and guest relations are essential Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for handling transactions effectively Ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service standards
