Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and drinks with precision.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences. Accurately input orders into the POS system (Aloha POS or Micros POS) and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed. Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and basic math for accurate billing. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Assist with host/host duties as needed, including managing reservations through OpenTable.

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant settings, preferably in fine dining or nightclub environments. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Culinary experience is a plus, along with familiarity with food preparation processes. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Prior experience with guest relations and providing exceptional hospitality is highly desirable.
