We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and communicate orders effectively to kitchen staff.
Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance the guest experience while increasing sales.
Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns promptly, and foster positive guest relations.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all sales.
Assist with food handling, bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure efficient operations.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas according to health regulations.
Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently and optimize seating capacity.
Collaborate with team members across shifts to deliver seamless service during busy nights or special events such as nightclub nights or private parties.
Skills
Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially within fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs.
Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable reservation platform.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest inquiries professionally.
Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods without compromising quality of service.
Ability to upsell menu items confidently while respecting guest preferences to maximize sales opportunities.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and change calculation.
Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is a plus for understanding food preparation and presentation standards.
Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
Experience in serving at fine dining establishments or nightclubs is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills for coordinating with kitchen staff, hosts/hostesses, and fellow servers to ensure smooth operations.
