Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of food service operations. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Nights, weekends are a must.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using LAVU POS systems. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets our fine dining standards. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and adhering to sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system. Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures and customer service best practices.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is preferred. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience. Previous fine dining or restaurant experience is highly desirable. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Experience in bussing, hosting, or kitchen roles can be beneficial. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members in a fast-paced environment. Pay: $3.27 - $6.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
