Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive top-notch service throughout their dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression. Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system or OpenTable. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and culinary recommendations. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist with food preparation and ensure all items are prepared according to safety and quality standards. Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction with their dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth operations during peak hours.

Skills

Strong guest relations skills with an emphasis on providing excellent customer service. Proficiency in using restaurant management software such as Aloha POS or OpenTable is preferred. Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately. Knowledge of food service practices and culinary terminology is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. A helpful attitude with a willingness to assist colleagues when needed.
