Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or issues
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely food preparation
- Adhere to sanitation and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a server or in the hospitality industry is preferred, but not required
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food preparation and safety guidelines is a plus
