Duties

Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance the dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and communicated effectively Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while providing honest recommendations to guests Manage cash handling, process payments accurately, and operate cashiering systems with efficiency Maintain cleanliness of tables, stations, and service areas by bussing tables and adhering to sanitation standards Support food safety protocols by handling food properly and following sanitation guidelines at all times Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly

Experience

Previous restaurant experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and reservations management Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations, hospitality, and creating welcoming atmospheres Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations within the food industry Experience in serving, bussing, hosting/host duties, or food preparation is highly desirable Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining a positive attitude Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
