Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and guide them through their dining experience by making tailored menu recommendations and cocktail/wine pairings.
- Maintain a clean and organized service area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses and utensils
- Clear, crumb, and re-mark table in between courses
- Execute perfect wine service and have a working wine knowledge (training will be provided but previous experience and prior knowledge is a plus)
- Handle cash and credit card transactions
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a seamless positive experience
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server or captain in a fine dining or upscale casual restaurant
- Knowledge of basic math skills for calculating bills and making change
- Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle difficult situations with tact and grace
