Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Manage guest inquiries, resolve concerns promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness standards in compliance with food safety regulations Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements for smooth service flow

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction Experience with cashiering, basic math for bill calculations, and cash handling procedures Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous for understanding food preparation processes Strong communication skills paired with a friendly attitude to foster guest engagement and team collaboration

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
