JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB SUMMARY
A Server's main goal is to provide stellar service for guests, ensuring an indulging experience that keeps
them eager to return. Servers provide the vital link between guests and the kitchen. They accurately take food and beverage orders, relay orders to kitchen for preparation, and deliver prepared food to
guests while providing superior guest service.
JOB DUTIES
oBe proactive with greeting all guests in the theater before they request for service.
oAnswer Plex Call System in a timely manner to further assist guests.
oEmbody Nice and Amazing Service by following all In Seat Dining procedures.
oGuide guests through the menu and suggest promotions, addons, or upselling, demonstratingknowledge of menu and Cinepolis offerings.
oGreet guests and say goodbye to guests whenever possible.
oDemonstrate Passion, Commitment, and Integrity at all times by running food and beverages, bussingtrays and cleaning seats, and helping other team members whenever possible.
oEnsure all food orders are inputted rapidly and accurately in point of sale system and check back withguests to ensure they have received their orders and everything they need to enjoy their meal.
oObtain a credit card when order is placed to ensure payment and to create a smooth experience for guestswith limited disruptions later into the film.
oProcess all payments correctly and responsibility and returning to guests at appropriate time to limitdisruptions to the films
oImplement alcohol service and safety training, including not over serving an intoxicated guest and donot hesitate to ask for management intervention if necessary.
oProcess daily server paperwork accurately and timely
oCheck patrons' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements forconsumption of alcoholic beverages
oNavigate guest complaints and assist with requests or direct them to proper resource if unable to assist
oAssist with crowd control and seating of guests as needed.
oCognizant of issues with movie projections-communicating with management or theprojectionist when issues arise.
oInform management of guest complaints and or maintenance requests.
oComplete all opening, mid and closing procedures- including but not limited to side work.
oAttend and participate in trainings and meetings.
oOther duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
oMust be 18 years or older.o1+ years of full service serving experience.oServSafe, Food Handler's and Alcohol certifications required.
oStanding, walking, lifting, twisting, traversing stairs and bending on a frequent basis.oAbility to work with Vista Point of Sale System and perform basic math.oStrong interpersonal skills for interacting with employees, guests, and management.oStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.oIs organized and able to prioritize in a fast paced and constantly changing environment while maintaining a smile and positive attitude.oGreat communication skills with the ability to handle difficult and stressful situations and issues in a positive manner.oHave integrity and can be counted on to the right thing.oFlexible working hours including holidays and weekends.

The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. The employee may be asked to light lift 25lbs to 50lbs occasionally with assistance.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a theater environment where typical levels of noise, dust and activity can be expected. The noise level in the work environment is typical for cinemas and can vary from moderate to high depending on areas of premise.
