As a Server at Lardo's Saloon, you will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure that our patrons have everything they need for a memorable meal. The ideal candidate is friendly, attentive, and has a passion for great service and food.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and engaging with guests, taking food and drink orders, and processing payments.
Menu Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of the menu's, including daily specials, ingredients, preparation methods, cocktails, and wines to answer guests' questions and make recommendations.
Order Management: Accurately input orders into the POS system and communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of meals.
Table Maintenance: Ensure tables are clean, set, and properly stocked with necessary utensils, condiments, and napkins throughout the dining experience.
Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly.
Collaboration: Work closely with other servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient dining operation.
Cleanliness and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area and ensuring food is handled properly.
Upselling: Promote menu items, specials, and beverages, aiming to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
Cashier: Cash out all tables serviced in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a server in a restaurant setting preferred but not required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and positive attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tables efficiently.
Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of food and beverage pairings is a plus.
