Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced, fine dining restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while effectively managing multiple tasks in a collaborative setting.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations to enhance the dining experience. Utilize OpenTable for reservations and manage table assignments efficiently. Process cash handling transactions accurately and responsibly. Upsell menu items to maximize guest satisfaction and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their visit. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the restaurant.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, particularly in fine dining settings. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high service standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with team members and engage with guests effectively. A background in culinary arts or knowledge of food preparation is advantageous but not required. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
