Job Description

Looking for a part time/ full time server. 3 to 5 days a week. Shifts will vary but normally be later shifts/ closing shifts. This position requires open availability and reliable transportation. Must be able to obtain an indiana liquor license to serve alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities



Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, providing a friendly and professional first impression Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales, utilizing knowledge of specials and wine pairings Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation practices in accordance with health regulations

Experience



Previous restaurant experience in food service or hospitality roles preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Experience with OpenTable reservations system is a plus for managing guest seating efficiently Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle diverse guest needs Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to multitask effectively with excellent time management skills in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and managing tabs accurately
